The Niagara County Fair is back in Lockport August 5-9, blending the traditions Western New York families have loved since the 1850s with new entertainment, foods, and a salute to America’s 250th birthday. Presented by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Niagara County, the fair keeps family fun affordable: $12 admission at the gate for everyone 7 and up, with kids 6 and under free and free parking all five days. From 4-H animal shows and market vendors to rides from Main Event Amusements, live music, magic, and contests for every interest (pie baking, photography, karaoke, even Paul Bunyan competitions), there’s something for every member of the family.
